i have a job. everything is separate. he makes significantly more than me. now that this has happened, he will agree to a joint account. however, property will still be separate. i can own a new home if I put in equity. 20%, i can own 20%. we live in city. i want a car. he says i'm spoiled to want a car. things like that. i do love him. still, i'm finding this hard. he is willing to give me a joint account now, where he contributes more. still, it bothers me that i had to go through this to get this, and that he would still own house separately. the mentality that he is doing it because i said so is killing me. i really don't know. i guess lack of trust. now, he says because of what i have done (basically, hired a lawyer), he will never renegotiate the prenup because who knows the next time i will do this again. the worst part is, he is in pain, and he has the power to fix this. it's very very painful.
