a good friend has a newborn with some serious medical issues. They (the parents)are very young and seem to be struggling a bit financially. They say they don't need anything, but I want to help in some way. Family is not nearby, he's working and she's home with baby for now. Anyone have any suggestions? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Send them meals, someone to clean the house, or if you know them well enough, call and ask to come over and then just do whatever needs doing: laundry, cooking, babysitting while the mom sleeps. [ Reply | More ]

ita, but send the diapers to the house - it can be a struggle to get out if she's alone all day [ Reply | More ]
