Any advice for a mom about to do a FSBO? Should I do a 'first showing' as an open house or just list in the times, list open house info but do private showings in the week prior?? I'm worried (maybe prematurely) that my phone will start ringing a lot with people wanting to see it and I'll just be overwhelmed with showings)....(or I guess nobody could call......) I would make your 1st open house the "first showing" and list as such. then take it as it comes [ Reply | More ]

my advice would be to get a realtor. you can probably negotiate 5% instead of 6% [ Reply | More ]

I will if I don't have any offers after a few weeks. But our bldg has a lot of quirky things going on now (not bad things but a bit different) and for me to have to do all the work and explain all this to the realtor and then pay them 100K, I just want to at least try first on my own [ Reply | More ]
