Moms who's kids read before kindergarten: did you send them to tutoring or did they just pick it up from being read to and looking at books? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I posted before. I have one DD who read at 6.5-- my son started reading at 3.5. I did nothing different. No tutoring and no drilling. He just picked it up on his own because he was obssessed with letters and numbers. [ Reply | More ]

I was just curious. My kid's only two, but I am absolutely fascinated by all of the testing and competition to get into pre-school and kindergarten. I figured some of those kids had been subjected to some kind of tutoring. [ Reply | More ]

op: I do know the difference between "whose" and "who's" but since this isn't a document for publication, I'm being lazy. You know what I meant. [ Reply | More ]
