Tarrytown school district is not great, it is a Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown combined school district. www.greatschools.net rates it 5 out of 10. [ Reply | More ]

^^^ You should consider Mamaroneck (Larchmont-Mamaroneck or Rye Neck School district, both good school districts). Good commute, downtown not as cute as Tarrytown, but you can always drive or walk to Larchmont's downtown depending on where you live in Mamaroneck or to Rye's downtown if you want the cuteness factor. Mamaroneck has a great public library and a theater (Emelin Theater), a lot of playgrounds and the harbor. It has great recreational activities, mostly shared with Larchmont. [ Reply | More ]
