nyc mom just moved to long island, wohm with 2yr old dc. every mom i meet that is my age already have 2 and 3 dcs- so different than what i was used to in ny- work in finance and all the moms i worked with were mid 30's to 40 having their first dc- i feel so out of place. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I'm on LI, 31 have 2 dcs. It's not the 90s anymore. Back then it was more of a career woman mentality, it's the opposite now. [ Reply | More

Manhattan mom here. Itd. Not here. Still meeting many moms having their first dc in their mid to late 30's. My sis moved from Manhattan to LI and she had her first dcs at 32. I had my first at 32 too also and now pg with my 3rd at 40. [ Reply | More

Not quite the same but I am a Manhattan mom w/ 1 db (born when I was 37). The only friends I have with babies the same age are in the suburbs and they have 3-4 kids each. [ Reply | More
