I'm so proud of my 6 year old DD. She had to have a brain MRI and we were considering sedation. She did it without medication! She was in there for more than 40 minutes and she was nice and still. (and they found nothing which is what we expected- yay) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I know. The machine was huge and scary and she was so brave. The techs were wonderful though (and so good with kids) They say they have excellent experience with girls but boys sometimes need sedation until age 7-8 or so. [ Reply | More

Good for her for being so still and so happy to hear the good results. we had to do one on my ds but he was only 23 months old at the time so he had to be sedated. i cried through the whole thing (it was an emotional time overall). [ Reply | More
