this whole switching from formula to whole milk sucks. I sued to be able to pack up few servings of formula (powdered) some empty bottles and bottle of poland spring and be set for an entire day out. Now I have to measure out 2-3 botles of 4 oz, pack them in cooler bag with an ice pack and hope they stay good all. This is so annoying. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

You can buy organic milk in boxes that you don't need to keep cold. [ Reply | More ]

So he's a year old? They're not going to die without milk at certain intervals at that age! Just give them water and regular food on your outing. They get milk when they get home. 16 oz at that age is more than enough so if they take a bottle in the morning and one before bed you are covered. Don't complicate your life ;) [ Reply | More ]

we are trying that approach, but DS freaks if he doesn't get a bottle with a few oz every few hours. I try to keep it to 2-4 so he doesn't get to mcuh during the day, but if he doesn't get some he wigs out. [ Reply | More ]
