Anyone else with a DC who won't drink milk? 19 mo has refused for two weeks now. I'm giving him cereal w/milk and lots of yogurt to compensate but worried about it. I've tried chocolate milk, milk w/honey, and nothing works. He'll only drink water. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

ever since I d/c the bottle dd won't drink milk. She eats a ton of cheese and yogurt and will have a sip of milk once in a blue moon. Nothing else I can do. I used to really worry about it, but it's been 9 mo or so and what can I do? [ Reply | More ]

didn't want dd on a bottle for a long time. nb was arriving and I didn't want her stealing her bottles, etc. Big mistake. With #2 I will keep her on longer if she refuses. [ Reply | More ]

i wouldn't worry as long as he eats yogurt, cheese, etc...my daughter stopped at one year when we took away the bottle....and now she's thriving at 2 1/2 and still never drinks milk. [ Reply | More ]

i don't understand you people - better to drink milk in a bottle than to not drink milk at all. [ Reply | More ]

op: Thanks all. My DB never took a bottle, so that was never an option. (When I stopped nursing, he would only take a sippy cup and hardly drank milk before he stopped completely.) [ Reply | More ]
