Help! Does anyone know a place I can get new glasses within a couple of days? I have a very high prescription. In the past Lenscrafter has taken over a week and I need them asap. Anywhere in NYC is great. TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

any place in chinatown will do it. i've gotten good & cheap glasses before at the store located on mott one block south of canal. they took just over 1 hour on a saturday afternoon and i thought my prescription was high. [ Reply | More

If you're on the UWS, Pildes Optical did mine in 3 days. They are on B'way around 77th. If you need any special type of lenses, it will always take longer, though. My rx is pretty standard. [ Reply | More
