Dh and I live in a 2bdrm apt with db. My friend is coming to town for 5 days and is bringing another friend with her. I think that would be pretty ballsy- I can't imagine going to someone's apt with no guest bdrm and bringing a friend with me. I want to be hospitable, but where should they sleep- in our bdrm? Yep, when her and her dh came here, db was not born and they stayed in our 2nd bdrm. When we've gone there, we've stayed in their guest bdrm. [ Reply | More

I agree. aero beds are great.. you will be saving them TONs of $$$$. They should also take you to dinner AT LEAST 1 time for your efforts. i do this when I visit the city [ Reply | More

call up your friend and tell her you are concerned about sleeping arrangements -- tell you that you just want to make sure that her friend understands that you don't have a guest room so they will be sleeping on the couch in the livingroom. [ Reply | More

The other bedroom is DB's, right? Two choices: call friend and remind her that she and her pal will be sleeping in the living room and that becaue of DB you guys are up early, getting coffee etc., every single day. Do not make any accommodation of her at all -- tiptoeing around, shushing baby, etc. Or else call her up and say you are reconsidering the whole thing. While you would like to be accomodating, with DB and your preganacy you now think the whole situation is too much and you either can't put her up or her friend up. If your friend is childless, expect her to be angry and feel betrayed. [ Reply | More
