Have 21 mos ds. DH is really wanting to try for #2, I still don't feel ready. My question is, will I ever? I really think ds should have a sibling, but some days I feel like I can't handle two. Anyone btdt? Advice please! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It is really hard having 2--at least it is for me--and I don't know if you ever feel really ready, but tired as I am, I don't regret a thing. [ Reply | More ]

I would wait until you feel ready. I felt ready when my dd was close to 3 yr old. My dds are 4 yrs apart and it's great [ Reply | More ]

^^^I find the parents who I know that have dc who are very close in age have it harder in the beginning. My friend has 3 kids who are all 2 yrs apart and she is pulling her hair out. I'm pg with #3 and this one will be 4yrs apart from my younger dc. I don't see it being an issue [ Reply | More ]

I don't think anyone is ever truly ready, but it was so worth it for me. My dds are 3 years aprt, it was a good range for us--older dd was potty trained and in pre-school, so she didn't need as much hands on care as the newborn. And she was old enough to want to help, play with the baby etc. I say go for it. [ Reply | More ]
