i met this guy who lives in my neighborhood on one of those late-night-subways-are-messed-up rides that send the passengers scurrying from platform to platform. we started commiserating, hit it off, exchanged numbers--but then he asked me out on a date. i had to explain to him that not only was i married, but 6 months pregnant. are single guys really that clueless? we are practically neighbors--i figured if we were doing a neighborly exchange of numbers. i don't expect guys to hit on a 6 mos. pregnant woman; if a guy is talking to you when you're pregnant, you figure he truly just wants to be friends.
