9.5 month old DS has mastered cruising and can stand alone for 30sec-1min, and sometimes takes tentative steps on his own. How long does it usually take to go from this to actual walking? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I think it depends on the child. Some are more willing to "take the risk" of steps than others, esp after they've fallen a few times. Most likely, the more you work with him, the faster it will happen. [ Reply | More ]

my 9 mos, went from that to fuill walking in about a week. Onfe he got the balance he was off. However, it took about a month for him to get the idea of walking and not falling down or tripping over stuff. By 11 mos. he was a master. [ Reply | More ]
