I don't understand parents of only children that think this is such a terrible thing. I am an only and I had a great childhood, was very loved (and still am) and turned out to be a happy adult. I do wonder what it would have been like to have siblings but I wouldn't change anything, you never know. What I do worry about now is my aging parents. If you are a parent of an only, make sure you are responsible and can support yourself in your later years. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
