do you think the housing prices will continue to fall, specifically in bergen county, NJ? trying to decide whether we should just buy (a small starter house) and stop wasting $$ in rent or wait & save some more $$ for a bigger starter house but possibly get outpriced again. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

we are in teh same boat. we can afford a starter home but i really want something bigger. i happen to think that a lot of people are waiting to buy but also that a lot of people are waiting to sell. so i think there will be more houses in about 8 or 10 months. there will be more competition but people won't want to overpay.
