When do people think we'll really get the G&T placements? DOE website says "early" June - what qualifies as early? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Did anyone read the Insideschools article on Pre-K placements? It sounds like the outsourcing company screwed them up and maybe forgot to include sibling preferences. Can you imagine if that happens for G&T too?!(I assume they are using the same company) Could they make placements and then take them back? Or will they have to "make good" on placements and overenroll? [ Reply | More

I don't see how they can overenroll, preK class size is highly regulated and it's not like schools have extra classrooms and teachers ready to open up another preK program. [ Reply | More
