NYC moms -- how much does a one-hour private swimming lesson for 2 kids run? I was quoted $75 per her per kid. I think this is nuts & way above even crazy NYC standards. Anyone ever do private lessons? TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Yes, $150 total. $75 per child for an hour class. No discount for teaching 2 kids in same hour. My friend in Bedford paid $20 per hour for one child. [ Reply | More

That is high, and one hour is really too long for a swimming lesson anyway. My dd is almost 7 now and does 45 minutes and after swimming for that long she is exhausted. DS is 3.5 and half hour is all he can handle. [ Reply | More
