Can I vent? BIL started dating new woman. I hold Memorial Day party every year. Dh has a big family so it's a bit of a potluck in that I provided all meat/grill and drinks and other people bring salads and dessert. BIL called and said his new gf loves to bake so she'd bring dessert. I said she only needed to bring one and other SIL would bring something, too. He said that she wanted to do it all. LOVES to bake. I reminded him to bring something kid-friendly since there are about 30 kids. They showed up yesterday empty-handed. New gf said "I got too busy at work, sorry." I told BIL he had to go to the store and get ice cream and popsicles for the kids. He said it would make his new gf "Feel bad" and he sat down. So, dh ran out and got the kids dessert.
