Help have a friend whose DH is very ill with cancer. His disability is running out in a month and they are having economical hardships. DH is not even 40 and they have a 2yo. Any advice on how to set up a charity for them or holding a benefit [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Do you have an accountant? I'd start there. [ Reply | More ]

Dh holds charity events all the time and usually holds them at the place the money will be going to. But in your case you can do a event somewhere that will not cost you too much. Auction people off such as trainer, chefs, etc. Or hold a bar night somewhere. Over price drinks and have the money go to the charity. [ Reply | More ]
