12 mo dd is clearly tired but screaming her head off when i put her down for a nap. dropping the am nap? why would she be yawning if she's not tired and didn't need the nap? i'm letting her cio right now, but she's really hysterical. not usually like this at nap time. also getting new teeth -- could be from teething, right? def could be. that's pretty old for two naps though too? at that age, i would try for 20 mins and then get her up if not. start afternoon nap earlier. [ Reply | More ]

Sounds like she's giving up the AM nap. I'd start moving the AM nap back by 15mins or 30mins. My dd napped from 11am-1pm for about five months. [ Reply | More ]
