How could you tell the difference between Braxton Hicks and early labor contractions? Do they feel different or just not go away if you move around? Thanks! -38 wks and getting antsy here. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

at 38 weeks, take a shower, have a glass of wine, lie down and if they have not stopped in 20 minutes it is most likely th e beginning of labor. [ Reply | More ]

You'll know the difference. I had a ton of BH and sometimes they would go on for 45mins or so but my first contraction - I knew it for sure. [ Reply | More ]

labor is different for everyone and some have a different tolerance for pain. I was in labor for hours and didn't know it. [ Reply | More ]
