We have good friends who have decided to have just have one dc for financial reasons. They want pvt school, live in Manhattan etc. I admire them for making such a practical decision but I also see how they both just seem to really want another dc. Always holding the younger sibs of ds's friends, talking about their decision with some ambivalence. Irl I totally mymob but only here can I say what I think. I could see making the decision they are making if it was about having a third dc or if they didn't feel any particular desire for a second. In their case, where they seem to really want another, I think they should try and work out some of the other logistics. Ok, just wanted to say that somewhere b/c I would never say anything like this to them. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

op: You have a point. Maybe they don't really want to hold those younger sibs but the parents of two just keep passing of their second db! [ Reply | More ]
