if you're thinking about leaving nyc to move to somewhere with more space, a yard, less competition, less expensive, near family, etc., think twice. we did it a year ago and i'd like my hard-won lesson (don't leave ny, your life, your friends unless you really must) to be of use to someone other than myself. I understand the space issue and yard thing and (possibly) the less expensive situation. But I really don't understand why you think that NYC is competitive and/or that the burbs are less so. What do you mean by "less competition"? [ Reply | More
