What do you "get" when you rent a cabana? Beach access, a place to chance? Do they have restaurants/snack bars? Suff for kids to do? How much does it cost? Sorry to grill! [ Reply | More

New Plaza is nice and may have some cabanas/lockers still available. Go to www.newplazabeachclub.com. It's not fancy at all, but the beach is great, and you'll have a place to leave all of your stuff. There's a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner (sometimes they do special dinners). The food is okay, but the service is ridiculously slow. I pack lunches for the whole family, and use the restaurant to purchase drinks, snacks, and ice-cream. The club is very quiet during the week because it does not have a camp. Catalina has a camp, so it's pretty busy all week long. I did hear that Catalina does not have any cabanas left. You can also try Westbury, Sunny Atlantic, Clearwater. There all pretty much the same and located along the same strip of beach. [ Reply | More
