honestly I would be concerned. I'm not sure if it's a major dev. milestone anymore, but I think that's late. [ Reply | More ]

do not be worried. all kids develop at their own pace. dd 2 did not roll over until 7 or 8 months. she sat up at 9. she walked at 15. she is talking and running around at almost 2 years old. they are all diff and don't worry at all. enjoy db!! [ Reply | More ]

I would at least make sure your ped knows and ask him to check for other markers (eye contact, recipraction, verbalization, etc) [ Reply | More ]

neither is mine and i'm not concerned. she has good neck and trunk strength, she's grasping at things, very social, etc, so I am not concerned. [ Reply | More ]

don't worry if you can help it. my one yo dd still doesn't like to roll. she has low muscle tone but with just a couple of weeks of physical therapy is crawling and pulling up. probably would have done it eventually on her own but it helped me figure out what things to do to help her along. just keep an eye out and if not crawling by 9 months then ask pediatrician to refer you to EI so you can get pt. can't hurt! also there are books on how to exercise kids w/ motor delays that are great.
