DD #1 co slept until 4 1/2 - some succesful intervals of sleeping the whole night in her bed. Now at 5 goes to sleep in her bed and in the middle of the night comes to our bed. DD#2 until now, sleeps in her crib the whole night has never slept on on our bed and is going to be 1 next month. Worried that when #2 gets bigger, will want to get into bed too. [ Reply | More

np - Funny, we never ever co-slept and DH hardly ever travels - but when he does, DD sometimes wakes up at 3 am and comes into my room. She would never do that if he were there, so it doesn't bother me, but I think it's funny that she has programmed herself to wake up in the middle of the night just because he's not home. if you have any room to walk in your apartment (which you obviously do) you can get one of the fold out childrens beds. Our friends did it for years. It doesn't really matter to me if you cosleep or not, but you seemed not to enjoy it. I suggested an option. They are smaller than a toddler bed. You can find them online. [ Reply | More

My 4.5 yo comes in anytime btw 3 and 6 am. If it's 3 am I actually go to her bed to sleep and let her cuddle (code for 'kick') dh the rest of the night. [ Reply | More
