generally speaking, do boys develop fine motor skills later than girls? my almost 11 mo can't pick up and eat cheerios on his own yet. i think my dd did this at 8 mos. he can pick it up but it ends up in his palm not between thumb and pointer finger. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

My DS could hold a bottle and drink on his own at 8 mo. Almost 12 mo DD still doesn't really do this. I think it's the kid--not the gender. [ Reply | More ]
