sounds good to me. kids forget a lot over the summer. and some kids (mine) really thrive on the structure of school. I'm planning on spending 1.5 hours a day doing "school"work w/ dcs this summer. [ Reply | More ]

mostly for the 5yo going into K. it won't be that intense. He has developmental delays and really needs to work on fine motor and motor planning activities. [ Reply | More ]

not really. I think all kids can only benefit from one on one tutelage. just check out a homeschooling curriculum online, you can use the summer to get into a subject that's overlooked in school (say ancient history or geography) [ Reply | More ]

Reading In Preschool offers summer intensives for early reading and math. It's a great time for a child to get ahead, plus with all the fun that's going on in the summer, it's a good idea to have the learning something educational so they don't lose what they learnt earlier on. [ Reply | More ]
