how did you get your dc in to reading?mine at 4,hates to do letters numbers work books.Do you all work on this with your kids?With 3 and full time job,cant find time to do anything but struggle to survive,help! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

No. Let him have access to picture books that interest him. Read to him when you can, and let it be. He'll learn to read just fine. Workbooks are completely inappropriate for his age. [ Reply | More ]

just read to the child and surround him or her with books that are of interest. and go to the library with the child a lot as well.. [ Reply | More ]

Sometimes it's just a matter of hiring a great tutor. A lot of children don't actually show interest in learning with their parents. Looking into the Reading in Preschool tutoring service. They're amazing with young children and the results are incredible. They start with 3 year olds, but also work with children up to 10 years old [ Reply | More ]
