Help! Have 2.5yo dd and a newborn, and I'm trying to figure out how the heck to put my toddler to bed now that we have 2 kids. Dh works long hrs, so it's always me alone at bedtime. What should I be doing w/ the nb when it's time for toddler's bed? She's clingy these days, and her whole bedtime routine takes at least a 1/2 hr. I'm so confused (and sleep-deprived). Any tips for dealing w/ 2 dbs appreciated. tia [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

get an ergo carrier and have the baby in the sling while you put your older DC to bed... [ Reply | More ]

NP: lol. The baby can sit in her bouncy chair or lay on the rug while mom puts the older one to bed. No need to cart the baby around. That would just make it worse for the toddler, who is no doubt feeling like the attention has been diverted [ Reply | More ]
