was at the park the other day after I left work early and saw the nannies- wasn't happy with what i saw, and now i'm wondering if my "gem" isn't really such a gem. i have to work as we need both incomes to get by. is daycare a better option perhaps? in nyc. db is 15 mos. hoping to have another is a year. Honestly though? Who isn't amazing to their employers face most of the time and talks crap about them behind their back- people don't seem to get that a nanny is your employee. You have to cut them some slack in that regard even though their job is your child. A harsh brutal truth but a truth at that- they want to sneak in extra breaks every now and then. [ Reply | More
