Did anyone read that article about the goalie from the U.S. Women's Soccer team in the Times? I'm speechless that people (particularly her teammates) made such a big deal about what she said. I am sorry too say it, but it really puts women WAY back in terms of being taken seriously in team sports. Are we really that catty and insecure? [for those who didn't read it, she was pulled from the semi-final of the world cup and they lost 4-0. She later said she thought they could have won if she had played and she could have made the saves. BFD. I mean, very egotistical, but it has torn the team apart and from what it sounds like in the article, it will be a miracle if they do anything in the Olympics because the team is still so "raw".)
