Trying to decide whether I want another db...Yearn for a baby but we have 4 y/o g/g twins and life is easy in the sense that they are great playmate, best friends. Very easy to do stuff as a family. Will having another db really shift the family dynamic? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

A hard question to answer. I struggled with the same. Have b/g twins -- now 7yo. I never went for the third although my dh really wanted to. I have to say that in some ways it gets harder as they get older. [ Reply | More ]

yes. borrow a bay from a friend, if you can and see dd's reaction. it will be hard for the baby [ Reply | More ]

it will shift it in a great way. your #3 will come along to all the stuff that older sisters do. the third baby just fits right into whatever the big sibs have going on. [ Reply | More ]

b, g, b. you know, I wouldn't over analyze how a baby will "shift" your family dynamic. it doesn't really work that way. your twins will continue to love each other, and they will love a new db. [ Reply | More ]

^^and I say this after watching #1 seriously regress after #2 was born. It didn't change the dynamic, so much as it was just a thing to needed to work itself out. Now my older 2 are the best of friends and both love the baby. [ Reply | More ]
