Help - 3.5 week old DD is so congested for the past 2 days; started saline as per ped, but she is having a hard time nursing. Should I be pumping in case she is not getting enough? She eats for a few minutes then falls asleep; I try and wake her to get her a little more but she is not eating as much as normal. Her diapers are wet and she is pooping. Any advice appreciated before the long night I have ahead:) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I don't think you need to add to the challenges in your life by pumping. Do you have a humidifier in DD's room? [ Reply | More ]

ita. Prop up the head of her basinette/crib, whatever she's sleeping in (or put her in car seat, swing, etc). Use humidifier, saline. Saline and bulb aspirate her nose before you feed her. [ Reply | More ]
