I have lived in Park Slope for 10 years and I really like it. But today we spent the day in Central Park with the kids and both DH and I noticed how much nicer the park and its amenities were. We used to live on UWS but today the differences were striking. I still like Park Slope but now I get why some people say it is no Manhattan. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

that's funny, cp is nicer, but i'd take pp over it any day. so much more wild and real and fewer tourists, more families just living there using it as their yard. i really love that park [ Reply | More

np: I think you hit it on the nose. PP is filled with people who actually live near it, and CP is filled people from all over the world. It is a huge tourist destination known globally. You can't expect PP to compete, but it is cooler in many ways because it belongs to BK and not to the whole world. [ Reply | More
