yes! both times. the first at 2.5 yrs the second much earlier - around 19 months (only b/c she was crib diving.) it went v. smoothly both times. [ Reply | More

^actually - it took forever for our bed to come in so our first child actually transitioned from crib to a mattress on the floor and then we put the same mattress on the bed once it came in [ Reply | More

Yes. D.s moved when he was 23 months into a twin bed. No problem at all. He had been sleeping in beds w/guard rails on vacation off and on over the summer and it worked out fine. [ Reply | More
