Want my two daughters names to mesh well together. My three year old is Isabella. For the new baby, we've considered: Alexandra, Amelia (Mia), Marianna, Livianna, Lauren, Sophie, Emily. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I think the name Claire is really sweet, but I'm not sure it blends well with Isabella. [ Reply | More ]

I'm sure you're referencing the popularity of the names I like, but I'll ignore the snarkiness. :) I like Ava, but worry that it's too short. I like Gabrielle/Gabriella, too, but they are too close to Isabella, I think. [ Reply | More ]

How do you suggest spelling Madelyn in a way that stresses the "lynn" (not "line") pronunciation? [ Reply | More ]

I love Francesca as a middle name, but I don't like "Fran" or "Frannie" as nicknames if it's used as a first name. Are there better nicknames? [ Reply | More ]

I knew a Chesca growing up. Or you could call her Cece. [ Reply | More ]

The Italian in me does NOT like Chesca as a nickname. CeCe is cute. [ Reply | More ]

The Italian nickname for Francesca is "Franca" (not Frank-a, a soft a sound). Girls can also go by Frankie which is cute. [ Reply | More ]
