I'm a consultant and my contract ended after 2 years with a large IB. The man that hired me is constantly red faced around me and seems uncomfortable about the decisions they had to make, head count had to be reduced. I talked with him yesterday and told him he was one of the best bosses I had and asked if I could use him as a reference. What would you make of the red faced behavior? Embarrassed, or he feels bad?
