13mo hates having teeth brushed and last couple times i've had to force him -- is it better not to brush at all? any tricks? don't want him to have terrible associations with it (i guess it's too late) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I have 2 brushes, one he plays with and pretends to brush and the one I use to brush his teeth. I let him paly with his first and when he is done I brush his teeth again. I hope his play brush helps to avoid negative associations. I also brush my teeth while he is pretending to brush his, so he can copy me and see how ti is done. [ Reply | More ]
