yeah, you're medium sized people i guess. i'm one of those sleepers who likes the options of going diagonal, i always sleep with my legs apart (internalized whore thing, i know, lol) and need SPACE and plenty of covers! especially when dd climbs in i don't like to feel like she's overheating or poking my spine [ Reply | More ]

queen, though with ds, I sometimes wish we had king. He doesn't sleep in our bed, but sometimes comes by in the morning. [ Reply | More ]

you can build one... and buy a 'real' mattress later. use a pad mattress (ikea esque) right now [ Reply | More ]

queen, wish I had a double, honestly. we have a big bedroom, but I feel like it takes up too much space. just silly. ever notice when a house is professionally staged, they rarely put in anything larger than a double? [ Reply | More ]

of course they don't, unless the room is huge and they want it to seem grand with a fluffy king-- again, for a huge room. our br could fit several beds, i really like the low platform king arrangement as it becomes more like a family bed [ Reply | More ]

uck. family bed is the last thing I want to encourage around here. I like that my kids are able to fall asleep by themselves. both dc went in crib as soon as they were home from the hospital, both great sleepers. [ Reply | More ]

oh, ours sleep great too, as would i if i coerced my parents into letting me watch tv with them in their bed, then conveniently conked out sleep just as they were too tired to move me-- this is dd's gimick. i was sort of raised in a family bed situation (in terms of morning 'snuggling', not sleeping nightly with my parents) and kinda like it [ Reply | More ]
