if you conceived naturally (ie without ivf/iui etc) did your OB check your hcg #s after 48 hrs to see if they've doubled? i ovulated on may 2-3 and now i'm pg. my OB had me come in yesterday for blood test to check my HCG and progesterone (they are 4600 and 31 respectively). He said to come in the week after next for an U/S. But was he supposed to get my HCG 48 hrs from now too? Sorry if this is ignorant; this is my 1st pg. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I don't think they normally check that stuff unless you have some reason to think things aren't progressing normally. They didn't with my first pg anyway but with the others they did since I had problems. GL [ Reply | More
