I had a miscarriage the last time I was pregnant so this time around I didn't want to shout out the news until I was farther along. I found out at 4 wks and only told my husband, mom and cousin (who is like a sister) and asked them not to tell people yet. Mom and cousin have told EVERYONE in our whole family and friends of our family and I am not even 7wks yet. Should I say something to them? I don't know what to say but I am really annoyed. Say you are really hurt. You trusted them to keep this quiet so you don't have to deal with the situation that happened last time. I find it is more effective to tell people how disappointed and hurt you are - rather than telling them that you are angry. And if you are still debating it I would definitely say something because otherwise it will just boil up into something bigger. [ Reply | More

that sucks but I don't know if it would be worth it to say anything. Not much they acn do to fix it at this point. I would just be more careful about it next time there is something you don't want generally known. I guess you can only tell DH and us. Sorry [ Reply | More

I had a similar situation. People just don't get that m/c is desvastating. One good friend, who pushed until I finally caved, went out of her way to tell me she didn't tell anyone (ie when people asked her), but found out that she'd told EVERYONE. I now know that I can't trust some of the people I thought I could. Lesson learned! [ Reply | More
