it sounds like could be. but, has it always been that way with him. cause i also think that can be a phase, and also depeding on how severe it is, it sounds like it could just be his personality? it might be technically a dsability , but not be something to over-worry about [ Reply | More ]

op: no...it has gotten worse as he became more social. I would say until around 2 yo he was really shy and reserved and did not speak much around kids. then it quickly changed and he as he became more social, he became more argumentative and a big part of it I think is reading the otehr kids wrong and getting upset inappropriately. he does well in school but when time is not structured its an issue [ Reply | More ]

NVLD is presents with very difficult struggles. I have 2 friends with dc's with it. 3yo are typically concrete and literal. [ Reply | More ]

Yes, that's what it sounds like to me. I actually thought about NVLD myself when dd was 3 and I was worried about everything so I looked into it. [ Reply | More ]

My dd could not read social cues at all. I may never know what was going on. My dd is nt, but I didn't know that for two years. She had ot and st and did well. She's in k and has no ld. She reads social cues now. She can do well in unstructured time now. That only started a few months ago, that was difficult for her. [ Reply | More ]
