What kind of paint should I get for painting rocks that will be left outdoors? It's for a kids sculpture project so kids will be painting if that makes a difference. Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

acrylic, see if you can find non toxic. or enamel even better. or if they're old enough not to paint all over themselves, go toxic it'll be fine. i assume you want it to last. cause tempera/poster paint would work, but it'd wash off and be sort of chalky looking [ Reply | More ]

Thanks. I'm a dummy--do I get acrylic from hardware store or must I go to the art supply place? [ Reply | More ]
