are you breast feeding - if so, a study done in Mexico with breastfeeding Norplant (basically same hormone as mirena) users found that their infants had significantly modified thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels. A six-year followup study that followed breastfeeding infants exposed to levonorgestrel was done in Norway and found that they had higher incidence rates of respiratory infections, skin conditions and eye infections than the control group, and later were found to have a higher proportion of “neurological conditions.” [ Reply | More ]

It's been ok. I gained 7 lbs and I think I'm crabbier before my period, but my periods have been much more regular. You can take it out if you're going to have sex otherwise it can come out. [ Reply | More ]
