DH and I take turns sleeping in; I get Saturday and he gets Sunday. Whichever one of us gets up early deals w/ breakfast and cleanup. Both days are mostly consumed by running errands and trying to get things done around the house. In the mornings dc will either play independently, help with chores or tag along on errands. We typically go out for lunch on one of the days, sometimes on both days. Then one of us will take dc to the park for a couple of hours after lunch while the other catches up on some type of work. We try to do at least one fun thing together as a family, like visit a museum, go to the library or see a movie, but some weekends it doesn't happen. We rarely leave the city. [ Reply | More ]
