anybody buy the step 2 swing set/climbers? much cheaper and smaller than "real" swing sets, but will my kids outgrow it too soon? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

yes, they will outgrow it almost instantly. we inherited one from neighbors, and my 3yo has been too big for it for a while. [ Reply | More ]

I don't know. guess it's an older model (neighbor kids are now preteens). it has a slide and boxy areas to climb through that are not so comfy for a kid over age 3. [ Reply | More ]

we got the clubhouse climber. it is a bit simple for my 4yo, but they still play on it a bunch (also have a 2yo). it is a good option for when we don't want to go to the park, or if we are doing other stuff outside. ours does not have a swing. [ Reply | More ]

thanks. i was thinking the climber with swings for my 2 and 4 y/o. it's still hundreds less than a standard swingset, and i'm not so sure than any swing set will hold their interest for that many yrs anyway [ Reply | More ]

another option is to get a jumping jack (or bounce house). they cost about the same as the climber. it is a bit more trouble to set up and take down, but dds LOVE it. [ Reply | More ]
