buy a book on people pleasing or go to therapy. this could translate into something from your childhood that is manifesting itself in your childrearing. Trust me...I know! [ Reply | More ]

she did, but only 2 hours a week, it ended last week. she'll be going for longer days in the fall. what to do in the meantime? my question is also, is anyone else like this? if so, why? [ Reply | More ]

are you saying you play nonstop with them or that you need to do more with them? [ Reply | More ]

you probably do this in other areas of your life. break the cycle and go to therapy. the time you take to go will be a good step in the right direction to put yourself first. [ Reply | More ]

Put her in nursery school or PT day care ASAP. By the time you put the brakes on it will be too late. Give her some space. [ Reply | More ]

putting her in day care only takes care of her child. she needs to take care of the behavior. Deal with it head on and go see someone. Did you have an abusive or alcoholic parent? these are coping mechanisms (albeit, very good ones) for children raised in this atmosphere, but you need to break out now. [ Reply | More ]

Ooookkkaaay. I think the child needs to be taken care of! And soon! But I agree with you that the OP needs to deal with her compulsion. She's got another one coming up. [ Reply | More ]
