12 mo has always fallen asleep really easily for naps and bedtime. A week ago we took away pacifier and now there is 5 minutes of hysterics before she falls asleep and if she happens to wake up in the middle of the night (rare), its the same thing. When will she learn to fall asleep on her own again?? This is killing me [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

try a new bedtime routine - to make up for the 5 minutes of hysterics - perhaps a new stuffed animal, bedtime book, etc. If she wakes up in the middle of the night wait for her to go back to sleep on her own. After a few nights it should be fine. [ Reply | More
